High resolution monitoring
The Z150 gives you precise monitoring and low latency, however you choose to shoot, with its advanced, wide viewing-angle and high contrast 0.39 type 1440K dots OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) with large eye-cap, and an easily adjustable, flip-out 3.5 type 1550K dots LCD panel.
Compact and lightweight body
The Z150 is ergonomically designed to provide a lightweight and easy-to-use shooting experience. Three manual, independent lens rings enable smooth, natural adjustment of focusing, zooming and iris control. Dual media slots for recording flexibility
To extend recording times and workflow flexibility, the Z150 is equipped with two memory card slots and is compatible with SDXC and SDHC cards.
“RELAY” mode automatically switches recording from the first to the second memory card when the first is full, while “SIMUL” mode permits simultaneous recording to two memory cards (for example to create an immediate back-up version).

The breakthrough solution, which recently received the Technology Award from the Advanced Imaging Society, will be on display in a variety of sizes and applications on Stand 8-N182 at ISE 2016.
Attendees are invited to see the beautiful colour and clarity of Ultra-D glasses-free 3D technology on a 150-inch 9-panel horizontal video wall and 98-inch 3-panel vertical wall.
Also making their European debuts will be a 28-inch Ultra-D PC monitor prototype – an ideal solution for gaming and medical applications – and the first 4K tablet-sized 10-inch Ultra-D panel for glasses-free 3D on the go. Rounding out the selection will be 50-inch displays and the company’s top-of-the-line 65-inch displays, now in production and shipping to digital signage customers worldwide.

The future of 4K Ultra HD TV is among the most-anticipated topics at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. Updates are expected here about standards for improved picture quality, as well as the availability of more content coming on 4K Blu-ray Discs and increased streaming options.
But this week will also mark the first major public display of 4K UHD over-the-air broadcasts, as two Las Vegas television stations will transmit 4K video that will be shown on UHD displays populating the convention show floor.
TV makers LG and Samsung are each sponsoring separate local 4K broadcasts — independent station KHMP and NBC-affiliated KSNV, respectively — that will be viewable on the massive CES show floor.
It’s the first public demonstrations of the in-development Advanced Television System Committee’s ATSC 3.0 transmission system. ATSC 3.0 is expected to allow for not only the broadcast of improved quality 4K Ultra HD TV signals, but also mobile TV and interactive content.
„We’re on target to finalize the entire suite of ATSC 3.0 standards for next-gen television broadcasting this year,” said ATSC President Mark Richer in a statement.
Once, HDTV served as the Holy Grail of television. But 4K UHD with a technology called high dynamic range (HDR), which brings improved contrast and color saturation to 4K UHD content, makes „the television experience so much more lifelike, especially on larger screens,” said Peter Fannon, vice president of technology policy at Panasonic Corp. of North America.
And 4K over-the-air broadcasting would give broadcasters „the chance to compete and succeed in an ever more complex world,” he said.
Research firm IHS Technology expects U.S. shipments of 4K TVs to double to 12 million this year.
Also adding momentum to 4K UHD will be updates about HDR standards, additional movie studio support for 4K Blu-ray Discs and an expected announcement of at least one satellite TV provider delivering 24-hour 4K content, says Richard Doherty, research director at The Envisioneering Group.
With more than one HDR technology — Dolby Vision — and an evolving level of copy protection in HDMI inputs, consumer confusion could be a result. Doherty hopes that the industry consolidates standards and makes it easy for consumers. „I think we are going to hear about consolidation,” he said.

„There is somewhat of the industry coming together,” said Tim Alessi, director of new product development for home entertainment products at LG Electronics USA. „The whole idea is not just more pixels, but better pixels.”
However, all these developments don’t ensure success in 4K, says Dan Rayburn, analyst with research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan and executive vice president of StreamingMedia.com. „Right now, everybody is talking about technology and nobody is talking about business models,” he said.

User can copy the settings from one HXR-NX100 to another HXR-NX100 so that user can shoot with multiple cameras in the same settings*. Also, users can save camera settings for each scene, so that it is possible to recall proper settings for the scene immediately.

ANGA COM 2015 ended with an outstanding result of 450 exhibitors and 17,000 participants. Again, 50 percent of the participants came from abroad – from a total of 74 countries. Thus the Exhibition and Congress for Broadband, Cable & Satellite has continued seamlessly the record numbers of the previous year.

TD Control Studio Display Control and Management
TD Control provides easy-to-use, multi-display control from a single touch user interface. TD Control manages simultaneously different orientations, resolutions (up to 16k), sizes and aspect ratios. Using TD Control, the displays can be assigned rich media including 3D real-time graphics, live videos, multiple video clips and images. The outcome can be monitored prior to playout with TD Control program/preview feature, which displays real-time replicas of all the monitors in the studio taking into account the actual aspect ratios, orientations and positions. Transitioning to interoperable IP workflows
Production infrastructures today need to transition from SDI to IP and be built from commodity hardware and media aware software to take advantage of the IT industry’s huge R&D investment. At NAB Quantel and Snell were demonstrating a complete IP system including routing, production switching, processing and playout. We’re also showing how it is possible to transition painlessly from today’s SDI world into the IP future with plug-in modules for Sirius 800 routers and Kahuna switchers and a hybrid SDI/IP control system, with industry-standard interoperability guaranteed. This evolutionary approach enables current products to work across both worlds – eliminating the cost and disruption of a complete refit. There is also a raft of new developments across routers, switchers, channel in a box and news production that ensure customers can get the best out of their existing infrastructure while they transition to the IP future.

Increasing efficiency and output
With audiences fragmenting and the number of media channels continuing to multiply, content creators and distributors need to deliver more with less to make the economics add up. The answer is more intelligence and automation in the pipeline. Media aware monitoring has the potential to dramatically improve output quality while simultaneously lowering costs. The revolutionary Snell Media Biometrics technology makes media aware monitoring a practical proposition – new Media Biometrics modules for lip-sync, channel mapping and logo assurance are being introduced, as well as a Media Biometrics signal generator. At NAB Morpheus and ICE enhancements deliver a sophisticated on-screen presence more efficiently, with Media Biometrics capability also enabled in ICE. Adaptive Cadence technology is introduced for Alchemist OD, further streamlining file-based conversion workflows.
Telling compelling stories
However efficient the operation is, it is great content that attracts and retains audiences. Quantel and Snell are showing a host of new developments at NAB that enable content creators to tell compelling stories in new ways.
Developments on show include: Pablo Rio handling 8K 60p in realtime; advances in 4K; enhanced teamworking with the new Go! cross-platform browser – enabling the right people to work together on a story, wherever they are in the world; and the new LiveTouch sports highlighting system with integrated editing, enabling more sophisticated and engaging sports coverage, more quickly and easily.

The amazingly compact AVX receiver plugs directly into the XLR of a camera, where it automatically pairs with the microphone and switches on when the camera does. The system automatically adjusts the correct audio levels and transmits using a specially protected link in the license-free 1.9 GHz range. Setting up and recording high-quality audio for video has never been faster or more convenient.

Ease of use right from the start
Convenience starts with not having to register the system or pay for its use: AVX operates in the license-free 1.9 GHz frequency range, which can be used in many countries worldwide. The convenience continues in operation: the plug-on receiver automatically switches on with the phantom powering of the camera, and automatically pairs with the transmitter. The system immediately sets the correct audio level, perfectly matching it to the camera’s input sensitivity, selects a free frequency – and is ready for the job at hand. If a source of interference appears, AVX will inaudibly shift to a new frequency.

Range on demand
AVX is equipped with adaptive transmitting power, meaning that the system always uses the power that is required to maintain a reliable connection between the microphone and the camera receiver. This not only ensures a stable link, it also reduces battery power consumption – as does the automatic on/off function.
Clever energy management
The AVX receiver and transmitter are powered by special lithium-ion batteries, which can be recharged via a USB port. To avoid nasty surprises when filming for a long time, the transmitters display the amount of battery life remaining.
DSLR accessories included
For DSLRs with a jack audio input, the AVX systems include an XLR-3/mini-jack adapter cable and the mounting accessories needed to attach the receiver to the camera hotshoe.
Ready-to-use sets or individual components
AVX is available in three different sets: with a handheld transmitter (evolution microphone head), with a bodypack transmitter and ME 2 clip-on microphone and in a special professional version with a bodypack transmitter and an MKE 2 clip-on microphone, the benchmark product for film and TV productions.
For the USA, a special combo pack is issued, which includes both a bodypack and a handheld. The microphone head is an MMD 42, the capsule of Sennheiser’s long-standing MD 42 reporter’s microphone.
All system components plus additional items such as a handheld transmitter with on/off switch are available separately so that users can put together their own tailor-made AVX systems.
The AVX systems and components will go on sale from June 2015.

The Optical Devices Division of FUJIFILM North America received a TV Technology Best of Show Award during the 2015 NAB Show for its new 4K Ultra HD Series of lenses.Both the UA80x9 field lens and UA22x8 portable zoom lens have optical performance compatible with 4K 2/3-inch broadcast cameras, and were introduced at NAB in Las Vegas.
“We’re thrilled to win this award for the first in our series of 4K zooms for 2/3-inch broadcast cameras,” said Thom Calabro, director of Marketing and Product Development for the Optical Division of FUJIFILM. “TV Technology is one of the most respected publications in the broadcast industry, and it means a lot to be recognized by them for these new lenses that we were so excited to unveil at NAB. The UA80x9 4K field lens has an 80x zoom and optical image stabilization, making it ideal for coverage of large-scale events. The lens covers focal lengths ranging from 9mm in wide angle to 720mm in telephoto. The FUJINON UA22x8 4K zoom lens features a compact and lightweight design, a 22× zoom ratio and a focal length from 8mm in wide angle to 176mm in telephoto. The UA22x8 excels in capturing a broad range of applications, including live sports, program production and news reporting. Both of the lenses were designed using the latest proprietary optical simulation software. The UA80x9 and UA22x8 lenses offer exceptional 4K optical performance in the center of the image through to the corners of the frame. Fujifilm’s “High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating” (HT-EBC) is applied to the lenses for enhanced transmission, contrast, dynamic range, and color reproduction. The FUJINON lenses can be linked with other systems, such as a virtual studio system for combining CG images with live action. NewBay Media’s Best of Show Awards are judged by a panel of engineers and industry experts on the criteria of innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry. Broadcasting to over 220 million households in 100 countries, and with over 4000 staff from over 70 nationalities, Al Jazeera Media Networks is one of the leading global news providers. The London news production centre, designed around super-fast file-based workflows, will provide a blueprint for every Al Jazeera Media Network facility worldwide.
At the Shard, Danmon Systems, working together with Al Jazeera’s in-house specialists, has created a fully redundant file-based workflow.

It integrates Telestream’s Vantage Transcode Pro Connect, Analysis and Avid Advanced options running on GPU accelerated Telestream Lightspeed Servers alongside an Avid news system and Arvato VPMS media asset management (MAM) system. The Telestream Vantage transcode farm is used to ingest media into the news production workflow: its super-fast operation allows Avid editors to start editing while still ingesting news feeds such as Reuters and AP. Both media and associated metadata are ingested, transcoded and delivered to Avid Interplay PAM via Web Services, enabling staff to edit stories very quickly, referencing valuable metadata and growing H264 proxy and hi-res media files far quicker than before.
“The workflow at the London facility is completely new and re-writes the rule book in terms of design, operation, speed and efficiency,” commented Søren Bruun, Operations Manager at Danmon Systems Group. “Vantage’s ability to very rapidly ingest media into the Avid system enables Al Jazeera staff to start editing stories and get them to air in the shortest time possible. Vantage’s ability to present a growing media file to the Avid newsroom system is a key component in achieving this.”

Danmon Systems started installing the news production and output system in the last quarter of 2014 and the system went live in February this year. Al Jazeera Media Network reports that the workflow is operating beyond expectations and is providing major operating efficiencies. “In choosing our new platform for our worldwide upgrade to a modern file-based solution, Telestream was the obvious choice to provide our primary transcoding solution, using their proven Vantage solution on their innovative Lightspeed infrastructure,” said Feras Al Suliti, Director of Network Operations at Al Jazeera Media Network. “The tight integration between Vantage and our other vendors has proven invaluable, and now we have our solution working well in Europe, we look forward to bringing further innovations into our operation, and increased efficiencies as we continue to roll this platform out to our other sites.”

Sony is showing its newly improved XDCAM range of cameras, including the recently shipping PXW-FS7, PXW-X200 and PXW-X70 models. The FS7, in particular, has attracted “massive interest,” according to Robbie Fleming, product marketing manager, Sony Professional Solutions. “It’s been amazing. We have a lot of back orders.” The X200 is also much in demand. “We can’t make enough of them.” The Super35 sensor FS7 is now available with the new 28-135mm lens (as a package – the FS7K). “It comes across asa really good, all-round camera for freelance work, because it’s very versatile. It can give a cinematic look or run and gun,” said Fleming. Being connected is also a key
attraction. “All our cameras are now wireless,” he added, but they aren’t all yet 4K, as there is still a large market for HD. “The 4K ability is only one part of the attraction of the FS7. It also records 180fps slow motion on board,” at up to 600Mbps, and its lightweight shoulder-mounted form factor is also appealing.

The ARRI PCA accessories for the Sony PXW-FS7 will be available from February 2015.
The X200 has three 1/2- inch Exmor CMOS sensors, 17x zoom lens, MPEG HD422 (50Mbps) recording, two SxS media slots for simultaneous recording, a versatile new Multi-Interface (MI) Shoe and GPS data recording. The 4K-ready X70 is the smallest XDCAM professional camcorder, using a mid-size 1-inch type Exmor R sensor, recording 10-bit 4:2:2 HD in XAVC Long GOP, at 50Mbps. Blackmagic Design today announced that the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K was used to shoot Australian new wave band Pseudo Echo’s music video for the title track off their new album “Ultraviolet.” Shot entirely on green screen, Melbourne, Australia based production company Final Focus required a 4K camera that delivered Ultra HD cinematic images at an affordable cost.

“We needed a 4K camera due to the fact that the music video was shot entirely on green screen. This not only helped in regards to the quality of the key, but also gave us the ability to punch in for a closer shot without quality loss since the delivery was HD,” explained Adam Haywood, DP and co owner of Final Focus. “The Blackmagic Production Camera 4K’s images are amazing, and even back in the edit suite, I couldn’t believe how good the shots looked.”

The look and feel of the music video was inspired by lead singer Brian Canham’s love for retro and futuristic films and art, and this is a passion he shares with the video’s director Stuart Stanton, also co owner of Final Focus. Brian wanted to explore the idea of people’s energy existing beyond death in an ultraviolet realm.
With these factors in mind, Stuart came up with the concept of a celestial character inviting, controlling, evolving and transitioning another version of herself from one dimension to another. Intercut with footage of the band, the music video is a throwback to the world of retro sci-fi, designed to be visually engaging and in line with the energy and vibe of classic Pseudo Echo.
Shot in 4K ProRes, Adam noted that the 4K format was especially advantageous when editing and delivering in HD. “Shooting in 4K is probably the best thing in regards to reframing or cropping shots for more options without having to compromise image quality. The other element is the strength of the ProRes codec, which saves time in the edit suite and which other cameras don’t record in camera,” he said.

Adam added: “The Blackmagic Production Camera 4K marries both these features and combines them in an extremely affordable package, which means we own the camera and the power that comes with it.”
“We wanted a look to match the artwork on our latest album, and we wanted a very modern futuristic look,” said Brian Canham of Pseudo Echo.
“The video turned out fantastic. We love the high end look Final Focus achieved using all green screen.”
During post, Adam used a few curves and a little saturation in DaVinci Resolve for color correction and to give the images a final finesse. “When the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K became available, we pretty much purchased it immediately, and we haven’t looked back since. The camera’s images are just amazing to work with,” Adam concluded. ( – )

Hogyan került Budapestre a Blackmagic promóciós broadcast kisbusza?
A Blackmagic Design elhatározta, hogy egy 4K-s megoldásokat bemutató közvetítő kocsit készít és indít útra a kontinensen. Az előkészületek és a szerelési munkák az év elején kezdődtek. A közvetítő kocsi május végére készült el. A négy-öt hónaposra tervezett körúton a kocsit a Blackmagic Design szakemberei, köztük Darren Bailey, az EMEA vezető értékesítési menedzsere, kísérte. Az autó bejárta egész Európát, meglátogatta a nagyvárosokat, ahol helyi broadcast szakemberek ismerkedhettek a Blackmagic Design termékeivel és azok 4K-s szolgáltatásaival. A kocsi lement egészen Törökországig, onnan érkezett Budapestre, ahol két teljes napig állt a hazai szakemberek rendelkezésére, akik élőben láthatták és tapasztalhatták, hogy mit tudnak a Blackmagic termékei.
A Blackmagic Design nem titkolt célja, hogy az eszközeit, kiemelten a 4K broadcast felhasználásra készített termékeket, széles körben promótálja. Ezzel a bemutatóval is az volt a szándék, hogy minél több ember eljöjjön és találkozzon a termékekkel. Az esemény lebonyolításában a cég főbb magyarországi viszonteladói segédkeztek, akik meghívták ügyfeleiket. Szép számmal érkeztek tehát látogatók az ország minden pontjáról.
Mi a tapasztalat, kik érdeklődnek elsősorban a Blackmagic termékek iránt, mennyien voltak itt eddig?
Ha utánaszámolunk, talán hét-nyolc csoport érkezett eddig a bemutatóra, és a vidéki televízióktól is jöttek érdeklődők. A Blackmagic termékeinek vásárlói célcsoportját elsősorban azok a cégek és magánszemélyek alkotják, akik érzékenyek az árra és jó referenciákkal rendelkező, viszonylag minőségi termékeket szeretnének olcsón beszerezni. Ezek elsősorban televíziók, érdeklődő magánemberek vagy kisebb produkciós cégek.
A kamerák iránt milyen az érdeklődés?
A Blackmagic Design kameráinak ára annyira kedvező, hogy egyből felkelti az emberek érdeklődését. Minden látogató szerette volna megfogni, megtekinteni ezeket a kamerákat, amire itt lehetőség is volt. A kocsin kívül bemutatott, állványra szerelt stúdiókamerák még csak HD felbontást támogatnak, de a kocsiban látható már 4K-s kamera is. Nyilván ezek is kedvezőbb áron érhetők el, mint a piacon lévő más márkák – volt is irántuk érdeklődés szépen. A kocsiban található 4K-s Cinema kamera a bemutatón egyébként SSD-tárra rögzít 24-25-30 kép/s sebességgel.
A Blackmagic Studio kamerái ezzel szemben, igaz csak HD felbontásban, 50-60 kép/s sebességgel is tudnak dolgozni. Stúdió célokra szánt kamerákról lévén szó ezeknek nincs belső rögzítési lehetőségük, de a képet az optikai csatlakozójukhoz csatlakozó optikai szálon keresztül akár 40 km távolságra is el tudják juttatni.
A bemutatott kamerák között szerepel még az ugyancsak 4K felbontású Blackmagic Design Production Camera, amelyből létezik6 Gbit/s-os és 12 Gbit/s-os SDI csatlakozóval szerelt változat is.

Mi az, amit a bemutatón láthattunk?
Ahogy említettem, kipróbálható a Blackmagic Studio Camera HD. Ez nagyon jó minőségű, 1920×1200 képpont felbontású keresővel rendelkezik, amely egyrészt a kamera képét mutatja, másrészt pedig a képtartalom elfedése nélkül képes állapotüzeneteket és menüket megjeleníteni. A kamera utasító egységet is tartalmaz, valamint adásjelzést is biztosít, ezen túlmenően pedig szoftveresen távvezérelhető. Eredetileg mikro 4/3-os foglalattal rendelkezik, de átalakítókon keresztül más foglalatú optikával is használható. Valójában tévés produkciókhoz találták ki, referenciabemenetének köszönhetően a 4K-s keverőpulton egyetlen televíziós sor késleltetéssel lehet a különböző kamerák között váltani vagy átúsztatni.
A bemutatón kiállított kamera optikai kapcsolaton keresztül kapcsolódik a hordozható szekrénybe helyezett ATEM Camera Converterhez, a videojel ezen a konverteren keresztül jut el a többi eszközhöz. De haladjunk sorban. A szekrény tetején Full HD felbontású kijelző látható, amely az ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K képosztó kimenetéhez van csatlakoztatva.
A kijelző alatt a szekrényben 4K felbontású jelek fogadására alkalmas SmartScope Duo kapott helyet. Ennek feladata a beérkező jelek monitorozása; összesen 6 monitorozó funkciója között szerepel többek között hullámalak-monitor és PARADE ábrarajzoló.
A szekrényben lefelé haladva a következő eszköz egy 20 x 20-as, 4K felbontású mátrix. A mátrix kis monitorozó képernyőjén megjelenhet a kiválasztott bemenő jel, amelyet a gombok segítségével bármelyik kimenetre delegálhatunk.

A mátrix alatt az SD, HD, Ultra HD és 4K felbontású jelek kezelésére egyaránt alkalmas ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K típusú képkeverő látható. Az eszköz által biztosított 20 bemenet közül a legelső lehet HDMI is. A szokásos program és előnézeti (preview) kimeneteken felül a képkeverő 2 darab képosztó kimenettel is rendelkezik, valamint 6 aux kimenet is található rajta. E 6 kimenet bármelyikére egyetlen gombnyomással ráválasztható bármelyik be- vagy kimenet, de ráválasztható a beépített két médialejátszó által szolgáltatott jel is. A médialejátszók a csatornaarculathoz tartozó elemek lejátszására szolgálnak: 32 darab teljes felbontású, alfa csatornát is tartalmazó állóképen felül hangot tartalmazó klipet is le tudnak játszani. A klip hossza 720p HD felbontás esetén 1600 kép lehet.
A szekrény következő eszköze a korábban már említett ATEM Studio Converter. Ez fogadja a kamera felől érkező optikai jelet és alakítja át azt SDI jellé. Ez az SDI jel jut aztán el a többi említett eszközhöz. Ezen túlmenően a konverter segítségével az audiojelek is kicsatolhatók és eljuttathatók az hangkeverést végző hangpulthoz.
Végül a rögzítő rész következik, amelyet 3 darab HyperDeck Studio Pro alkot. A HyperDeck Studio Pro szintén képes a 4K felbontást kezelni, feladata pedig a hozzá csatlakoztatott SSD-meghajtóra rögzíteni a beérkező képet és az azt kísérő legfeljebb 16 hangcsatornát.
Az Blackmagic Design 4K-s közvetítő kocsijának személyzete Angliában készült fel a nagy útra. A kocsiba tulajdonképpen minden olyan egységet beszereltek, amely a Blackmagic Desing palettáján megtalálható és a 4K-s munkafolyamatokat támogatja. A bemutatási szándék látszik a belső kialakításon is, ugyanis az eszközök beépítése hátoldalukkal kifelé történt, így látszanak a ki- és bemenetek.
Úgy látom, hogy ami a Blackmagic Designnál 4K-s, abból szinte minden eszköz itt van…
Valóban, gyakorlatilag a teljes repertoár itt van, köztük a négy kamera által nagy távolságból küldött jel fogadására alkalmas ATEM Studio Converter, a Videohub Smart Control, a Master Control és a Smart Videohub UHD router. Ezek mindegyike szekrénybe építhető.
Szintén itt van az UltraStudio 4K, amit a videós célra jelenleg használt legjobb képességű felületen, Thunderbolt porton keresztül lehet számítógéphez csatlakoztatni, és amely a 4K felbontás mellett az Ultra HD felbontást is támogatja. Mellette itt van az Audio Monitor Dolby dekódolással, szinte hihetetlen, 1 RU méretben, meglepően jó hangminőséggel.
A bemutató céloknak megfelelően a közvetítő kocsi két képkeverővel is rendelkezik. Az ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K 10 bemenetű eszköz, a szokásos kimenetek mellett 3 darab aux port és képosztó kimenet is található rajta. Az ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K – a nagyobb testvér – bemeneteinek száma 20, érdekessége pedig a „super source” funkció, amely DVE nélkül képes 4 tetszőlegesen átméretezett bemenetet összekomponálni és megjeleníteni.
És végül itt van a Da Vinci kezelőpanel, ami Hollywood első számú színkorrekciós rendszere. A DaVinci Resolve egyébiránt egyre elterjedtebb a világon; az utómunkáknál nyújt komoly segítséget.
A Blackmagic Design 4K-s közvetítő kocsija összességében nagyon látványos és technikailag magas színvonalú bemutató programmal állt meg két napra Budapesten.

Hatfaludi József ( Sony Europe ) megnyitó szavait figyelemmel hallgatja a közönség…
Hatfaludi József (Sony) bevezetője után Dénes Zoltán vette át a szót, és felvázolta előadásának pontjait, amelyben bemutatta az új XAVC formátumot, és elmagyarázta annak előnyeit a többi ismert rögzítési lehetőségekkel való összehasonlításban.

Dénes Zoltán az előadás résztvevőinek kérdéseire válaszol.
Előadásában beszélt a Sony PXW-X70 es új jövevényről, ami egy 1″ -es a sokoldalú kamera Super 16mm -nél kicsivel jobb felbontással és Carl Zeiss F 2.8- F 4.5 optikával rendelkezik továbbá 4K (ready) EXMOR képfeldolgozója van, és változtatható pixel számmal tud rögzíteni, többek között HD 4:2:2 / 10 Bit tömörítéssel rögzít, és rendkívül jól használható OLED keresővel is rendelkezik.

A Sony PXW-X70 4K-t is támogató XAVC kodekkel dolgozik, ilyenkor MXF fájlok készülnek MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 tömörítés szerint. Súlyát tekintve alig 1.4 kg tömegű az eszköz .
Dénes Zoltán előadásának második témája a Sony PXW-X160 / X180 kamerák voltak, melyek 3×1/3 ” EXMOR CMOS / 2.7 Mpixel képfeldolgozással működnek, F 3.7-es objektívjük nem cserélhető, XQD / SD memóriakártya foglalatuk és hasonlóan az előbbi kamerához, OLED keresőjük van. Míg az X180 WIFI kapcsolatra képes, az X160 -as nem rendelkezik ezzel a tulajdonsággal.

Dénes Zoltán kedvencének nevezte a fő témaként bejelentett Sony PXW-FS7 kamerát,
amit egyenesen gyönyörűnek nevezett.
A kamera Super 35 -ös felbontást tud, Magnézium gépváza 33% -al könnyebb, mint az alumínium, és egy speciális fogókart készítettek hozzá, ami nagyon használható, ergonomikus, és nagyban segít az operatőrnek felvétel közben kitámasztani a kamerát. Sony PXW-FS7 –nek beépített ND szűrője van, MPEG4, HD422-ben és XAVC –ben rögzít. Tárolókapacitása is „rendezett” két XQD kártyafoglalattal rendelkezik.
A kamera kézről, kézre vándorolt, mindenki bele akart nézni…
Mindkét 4K-ás felbontásban tud rögzíteni, így a Mozis 4K (4096x 2160) illetve a TV -és 4k (3840 x 2160) felbontást is tudja. Képkiolvasása 2K -nál 240 kocka/mp, és a kamera minden objektív adaptert képes fogadni, ugyanakkor Dénes Zoltán kiemelten beszélt az LA-EA4 típusú adapterről, aminek alkalmazásával a kamerához minden SONY objektív használható!

Nem fordítottak rá kiemelt hangsúlyt, de megemlítésre került a Sony új foto kamerájának a Sony 7R –nek jelentősége és alkalmazása, akár a videózás területén is.

ODA – OPTICAL DISC ARCHIVE
Az előadás záró témája az adattárolásról szólt, annak különböző lehetőségeiről, melynek során Dénes Zoli bemutatta a Sony új, ODA elnevezésű diszkes tároló rendszerét, ami 1 Terra kapacitású lemezeket kezel, rendszerbe állítva pedig akár több száz Terrabyte tárolását tudja biztosítani a felhasználóknak. Lawo mc²36 RAVENNA
World premiere for the Lawo mc²36: Lawo has chosen this year’s IBC as the launch platform for the mc²36 audio console – an all-in-one mixing desk, with a comprehensive feature set that covers broadcast, theater, house of worship, live and install applications. Along with uncompromised sound quality and Lawo-grade mic preamps, it offers unprecedented value for money.
The compact size of the console belies its power. A powerful DSP micro-core with internal 512×512 port audio matrix, and integrated I/O make it ideally suited to permanent installations with limited space, as well as to rental companies looking to optimize transportation. As it is natively equipped with RAVENNA/AES67 technology, the mc²36 integrates seamlessly into IP infrastructures. And for operational security, the console not only has redundant power-supplies but also DSP redundancy.
The Lawo mc²36 was designed as a truly “universal” console, with its focus on ease-of-use. The console geometry combines with tightly integrated displays and controls to meet the demands of a variety of applications. Its 21.5-inch full HD touchscreens work with touch-sensitive color-illuminated rotary encoders to provide intuitive operation – e.g. the dynamics window will automatically pop-up when touching the dynamics encoders, and after adjusting the parameters the auto-close function will close the window without additional user action to restore the full overview.

In terms of connectivity, the console’s interfaces include 32 mic/line inputs, 32 line outputs, eight digital AES3 inputs, eight digital AES3 outputs, eight GPIO ports, one MADI (SFP) port, three RAVENNA/AES67 channels, and a headphone jack. In addition to the onboard I/O, a MADI tie-line connection and three RAVENNA/AES67 Audio-over-IP ports provide future-proof connectivity for up to 384 external inputs and outputs, offering a total capacity of 496 physical inputs and outputs.
And if plenty is not enough, the mc² Compact I/O is a convenient and cost-efficient way to expand the mc2 36’s connectivity and to provide a distant stagebox solution in addition to the On-board I/O. Connected via CAT5 or fiber (optional), the ruggedized 5RU stagebox provides 32 Mic/Line inputs, 32 Line outputs, 8 digital AES3 inputs, 8 digital AES3 outputs, 8 GPIO and a MADI (SFP) port. The mc² 36 allows for connecting up to three mc² Compact I/O. The mc²36 is also fully prepared for intelligent networking with other mc²36/mc²56/mc²66 consoles, and can be operated in combination with Lawo Nova audio routers, giving instant access to thousands of audio channels. Lawo mc² consoles provide intelligent mechanisms (including user-rights management) to allow input sharing between consoles. Even though the mc²36 is ready-to-go on delivery, it is not limited to a fixed configuration. Any aspect of the console can be adapted to meet specific users’ needs. All production data can be saved on a USB stick and transferred to another console – a facility that is particularly valuable in rental applications.
Alongside the mc²36’s onboard Loudness Metering, which was originally requested for broadcast applications, Lawo has developed loudness metering into a tool that is useful in live, theater and house of worship applications. The feature provides full loudness control in accordance with ITU 1770 (EBU/R128 or ATSC/A85) and features peak and loudness metering either separately or in combination. Lawo Loudness Metering can also measure individual channels for fast and convenient “visual” mixing, e.g. of background singers or multi-microphone setups for brass sections, strings and choirs.
Further functionality includes Listen Sense (for offline modification of channel parameters like EQ or dynamics with pre-listen of settings before switching them online); Audio-follow-Video (allowing automated fades from one camera to another with associated audio channels); Upmix/Downmix (from stereo to surround and back); Automix (automatic adjustment of the Ievels of active and inactive microphones, while maintaining a constant ambient level); Remote Desktop (for seamless integration of multiple external PCs with third-party solutions into the console’s user interface); mxGUI (allowing complete offline configuration and advance show preparation); full channel strip customization (allowing users to arrange the order of all DSP modules, including channel direct outputs, meter point, fader and aux sends); and Reveal (automatic input sorting of VCAs).
